The State Duma will allow the import of narcotic and psychotropic drugs by decision of the medical commission

A group of deputies and senators from United Russia prepared a bill allowing the import of narcotic and psychotropic drugs if there is a decision of the medical commission that drugs that are in the country are not suitable for this patient or group of patients. According to the Parliamentary Gazeta, this was announced by the head of the inter -fractional working group of the State Duma for the drug provision of citizens Andrei Isaev.

The proposed norm will affect cases when a person has an individual intolerance to a registered drug or a child in an individual intolerance to the input of the drug with an injection, and this drug can only be administered in this way.

“It is necessary that the medical commission establishes the need for a drug. After that, a decision is made on the purchase of appropriate drugs. They will be supplied with all patients until domestic enterprises begin to produce similar medicines, ”Isaev said.
