Perm Territory: two cases under Art. 280

In the Perm Territory, two criminal cases under Art. 280 of the Criminal Code, which were initiated in connection with the publication of xenophobic materials with calls for violence on a social network.
In October 2019, it became known that two criminal cases were initiated in the Perm Territory under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism).

The first case was initiated against an employee of one of the local private security companies, who in February March 2019 published on his VKontakte page some materials containing calls for violence against representatives of certain ethnic groups.
The second case was initiated against an unidentified person who posted calls for violence against “non-Russians” in late 2018 and early 2019.
