In Bashkiria, the head of a religious organization was fined for possessing extremist literature

The head of one of the religious organizations in the Mechetlinsky district of Bashkiria was fined for possession of a book included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.

At the end of October 2019, it became known that in against the head of one of the religious organizations of the Mechetlinsky district Bashkiria initiated a case under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (production and distribution extremist materials).

The court, having considered the case, decided to fine him for two thousand rubles, and destroy the book.
