Magadan: criminal case under Art. 280 Criminal Code

A local resident is accused of publicly calling for xenophobic violence.

On October 31, 2019, it became known that in Magadan the investigation of a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism on the Internet).

The case was initiated against a local resident who, according to investigators, distributed texts in the WhatsApp messenger calling for "physical reprisals against citizens on a national basis."
