Moscow temple of the 17th century transferred to the ownership of the Russian Orthodox Church

Temple of the Intercession at Fili, previously shared Church and Museum of Andrei Rublev, transferred to the ownership of the Russian Orthodox Church.

On October 30, 2019, it became known about the disposal of the Territorial Department of the Federal Property Management Agency in Moscow dated September 16, 2019 on the transfer to property of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Church of the Intercession in Fili on Novozavodskaya street. The temple built in 1693-1694 is an object cultural heritage of federal significance.

Since 1971, the temple has been used as a branch of the Andrei Museum Rublev. Since 2000, the church and the museum have been using the temple together; services are held. In 2017, the Federal Property Management Agency transferred the temple to a gratuitous use, and now - the property of the ROC.
