On November 4, 2019, in addition to Moscow , events of Russian nationalists were held in different cities of Russia. In one form or another, actions were recorded in 11 cities.
In St. Petersburg, the "Russian March" was not agreed, so instead of a procession and a rally, the action took place in the format of laying flowers at the house where Alexander Kolchak lived. It was attended by about 15 people, which is half as many as gathered last year for a coordinated action. The organizers were local activists of the Nation and Freedom Committee (KNS).
Also on National Unity Day, Dina Garina organized a picket, which was attended by five people. They stood with placards “People were imprisoned for poetry only under Stalin and now. Freedom to Anna Karpukhina”, “For the fight against the drug mafia and American sects from 10 to 20 years. Freedom for Nikolai Kaklyugin”, “Murad Kasymov killed 2 people, 5 more became disabled!!! He was released after 6 months!!!”, “November 4 is the day of Russian national unity” and “1.5 years in a pre-trial detention center for helping political prisoners. Andrey Linok. One of the participants was detained.
The third action on November 4 in St. Petersburg was the gathering of activists of the nationalist movement "Russian-Slavic Association and Revival" and their like-minded people at the Solovetsky stone on Troitskaya Square. The action was dedicated to the protest against political repressions. The event was attended by about 15 people, including the famous neo-pagan Bogomil.
In Vologda , the organizing committee of the "Russian March", which is traditionally headed by Sergei Guzhev ("Russian Vologda"), did not receive approval for the action and decided to "temporarily stop its preparation and conduct." Instead, four people (including Guzhev) on November 4, without symbols and slogans, gathered at the monument to cosmonaut Pavel Belyaev. Guzhev also announced that he intends to achieve agreement on the action for another date.
In Yekaterinburg, the "Russian March" was organized by Maxim Vakhromov ("Russian March - Ural"). The gathering, which was about 30 people, walked along Pobedy Street and Cosmonauts Avenue to the Zarya cinema with a portrait of Vladimir Kvachkov (NOR) and posters "For Russian Power" and "For the Russian People." The participants shouted the slogans "Putin, skiing, Magadan" and "Down with the occupation - the freedom of the Russian nation." At the final rally, there were calls for the unification of Russians and opposition speeches.
At the same time, on November 4, about 30 activists marched through Yekaterinburg as part of a religious procession with inscriptions “Whites in the city” on their backs. In Orthodox columns, along with other participants, there were supporters of de-Sovietization, who called for the return of pre-Soviet names to city streets.
In Kaliningrad, the Russian March was held by the local branch of the National Patriotic Forces of Russia (NPSR) movement. The action took the form of a procession and ended with a rally. Participants walked with banners “We are not white, we are not red, we are Russian”, “I/We are Shies” and others, and also carried “imperial” flags. About 25-30 people participated. A year ago, the city hosted an “action of solidarity with the Russian March”, in which five people took part.
In Kirov, the "Russian March" took place in the form of a procession along the side of the roadway. About ten participants (including one young child) with imperial flags, drums, an icon and a banner "Russia - Russian power" completed the procession with a picket at one of the city's monuments. The action was organized by a small local association "Russian Word".
In Nizhny Novgorod, the action was not approved, but seven people gathered in the center of the city to discuss “general political issues, problems of freedom of expression of the will of citizens, and ways of interaction in the future.” In addition, on National Unity Day, local ultra-right activists announced the resumption of work in the city of the Popular Resistance Association ( ANS ). The local cell was headed by activist Sergei Ovsyannikov, who previously announced his participation in the preparation of the Russian March.
In Novosibirsk, the "Russian March" as a "protest against ethnic replacement and Chinese expansion" was organized by an initiative group to create a committee "Nation and Freedom" (KNS) in the city, headed by Miroslav (Maxim) Wegner. About 40 people took part in the procession under the imperial flags. The organizers also handed out leaflets with anti-immigrant texts and a message that “over the years of Putin’s rule, the number of Russians in Russia has decreased by 5.5 million.” In addition to leaflets, the organizers also distributed questionnaires for joining the KNS under the heading "Only struggle gives victory."
The last time the action took place in the city was in 2017 and gathered about 70 people.
In Pskov, the "Russian March" (March in support of political prisoners) was organized by Georgy Pavlov ( Gosha Ariyts , "Pskov Russian Veche Republic") and took place in the form of a procession, in which about 10 people took part, carrying a banner "For the rights and freedoms of the Russian people ". The participants demanded to "release political prisoners", "stop persecution for political opinions", "cancel political articles 282, 280", "disband the "E" center" and "abolish political censorship". Also during the rally, Pavlov reminded the audience about the case of Artyom Milushkin , who had been the organizer of the Pskov "Russian Marches" for several years in a row.
In the previous "Russian March" in Pskov, it was possible to coordinate with the city administration, but it always failed the day before due to the arrests of the organizers. The last “successful” march took place in the city in 2015, when it gathered about 30 people.
In Perm, on National Unity Day, an action organized by the Sturm project was held, which was denied permission to hold an official procession. Six people with imperial flags and symbols of their organization were photographed against the backdrop of several landmarks of the city and shouted "Russians - forward" several times.
In Radonezh, at the monument to Serius of Radonezh, the National Conservative Movement (NKM) and the Union of Orthodox Banner Bearers (SPKh) held a Russian procession under the banner of the Tsar's Russian March. It was attended by about 20 people, among whom was the head of the SPH, Leonid Simonovich-Niksic. After the procession, all participants visited the Lavra and the temple, which contains the relics of the saint. In Saratov , the action was organized by the "Black Front" of Andrei Martsev. About 40 people took part in the procession, some of whom carried the flags of the Black Front, as well as imperial flags and neo-pagan and neo-Nazi symbols (the flag "The sun is for us" and the flag with the rune "Odal"). Representatives of the NPSR were also present at the rally. At the rally, the speakers demanded "the abolition of the" anti-extremist "articles of the criminal code", "the release of political prisoners, including Sergey Ryzhov from Saratov " and "fair elections". The rally led by Andrei Martsev was attended by Black Front activist Pavel Kuznetsov, Opposition Walks participant Sergei Melnikov and civil activist Yuri Kutuzov. Last year, after a three-year break in the action, about 20 people took part in it.
