In Karelia, a case was opened against the anarchist Ekaterina Muranova, a defendant in the case of justifying terrorism, under an anti-drug article. The sm-news publication states that police detained Muranova “last week” allegedly with two packages of marijuana and three grams of hashish.
The anarchist herself reported on her Facebook page that drugs were planted on her, and after her arrest she was kept in a detention center for a day in cruel conditions - she was not given water, and the girl had to sit on the cold floor. This publication has now been removed from Muranova’s page.
A criminal case was opened against the anarchist under the article on illegal acquisition of drugs without the purpose of sale (Part 1 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code) because three grams of hashish were allegedly found in the girl’s possession. In addition, an administrative case was also opened against Muranova under the article on illegal acquisition of drugs (Part 1 of Article 6.8 of the Administrative Code) in connection with marijuana “discovered” from the anarchist.
