The house in the Austrian Brownow-on-Inna, where Adolf Hitler was born, will be used as a police station. It is reported by Die Zeit.
“The use of the building by the police will become a clear signal that it will never remind of National Socialism,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Austria Wolfgang Peshorn.
In 2017, the Austrian authorities bought the house from the previous owner, who had not yet agreed to sell it.
Until 2011, in the house where Hitler was born, there was a shelter for the disabled. Then they were evicted from there at the request of the owner. In 2016, they wanted to demolish the building, but abandoned this idea.
