Yuri Sulina, deputy chief of the capital construction department of the FSB, was accused of exceeding the authority in the execution of contracts for the construction of a border station, which led to damage in the amount of several hundred million rubles. It is reported by Kommersant.

According to the investigation, the loss is estimated at at least two border stations. The agency, when concluding contracts for the construction of facilities, paid 658 million rubles for work that were not fully completed, or overpayed contractors.

The average cost of one outpost is about 300 million rubles. Now Sulin is under house arrest.

According to Kommersant, a criminal case against Silin is carried out as part of a large investigation of the FSB leadership in relation to the command of the capital construction department.
