Boeing CEO has resigned

The hard year of Boeing ends with a loud resignation: the executive director of the Avia Higant Dennis Mullenburg leaves the post, writes The Wall Street Journal. The post of executive director will be occupied by the chairman of the board of directors David Kalhone.

Mulenburg headed the company since 2015. During his leadership - before the Boeing -737 Max flights, due to two plane crashes in March 2019 - Boeing capitalization was more than tripled, WSJ recalls.

Problems of 737 Max have already cost a company of at least $ 10 billion. According to sources, the aircraft regulator will not approve the updated aircraft control system until February 2020.
