The fraternal building of the Znamensky Monastery, which previously belonged to the plant, was transferred to the Kursk diocese

The authorities of Kursk handed over to the Russian Orthodox Church the monastery building, which had previously been confiscated from the electrical apparatus plant, into state ownership.

26 December 2019 it became known that the Administration of the Kursk region handed over to the local diocese building of the former fraternal building of the Znamensky Monastery. Former building belonged to the Kursk electrical apparatus plant, but then on demand prosecutor's office was returned to state ownership.

By according to the regional administration, the repair and restoration of the building will require 44 million rubles. Project documentation is being developed.

Factory has been located in monastic buildings since 1945, but for several years it has been transferring capacity in an industrial complex on the outskirts of Kursk.
