On January 21, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin introduced a new government. The previous cabinet of ministers, headed by Dmitry Medvedev, resigned on January 15.
In the new office there will be nine deputy prime ministers instead of ten. Three of them retained their posts, six more - new ones. The first deputy prime minister was the assistant to the president Andrei Belousov.
The Ministry of North Caucasus’s Affairs was abolished, out of the 21 remaining departments, leaders in nine were replaced. In particular, the posts were lost by Vladimir Medinsky, Olga Vasilieva, Veronika Skvortsova.
