The composition of the Government of Mishustin

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin introduced Vladimir Putin a list of candidates for positions in the new government. Their announcements have been waiting for from the middle of the day, but the president announced that he agreed with the proposed candidates, and signed the relevant decrees only in the evening.

Putin signed a decree “On the structure of federal executive bodies”.

Instead of Anton Siluanov, Andrei Belousov , a former Putin’s assistant in economics, was the first deputy prime minister instead of Anton Siluanov.

The idea with the appointment of Andrei Belousov to the post of First Deputy Prime Minister for Mikhail Mishustin was a surprise, told The Bell one of the prime minister’s acquaintances. They have a good relationship, but this decision was imposed on Mishustin, confirms the federal official. Mishustin understands that Belousov, who has been Putin’s assistant in the economy for many years, can keep all his initiatives to nothing, says one of The Bell's interlocutors.

One of Mishustin’s first promises in the new post was to establish a dialogue with business. Belousov is the author of the famous idea of the removal of superprofits from nonsense raw materials. Deputy Prime Ministers. There are nine instead of ten, of which six are new. The posts of Deputy Prime Ministers were preserved by Tatyana Golikova, Yuri Borisov and Yuri Trutnev, the rest were new. Here is a complete list:

Retired and new ministers:

The Minister of Economic Development, instead of Maxim Oreshkin, was appointed Maxim Reshetnikov, the governor of the Perm Territory, who had previously worked in the team of Sergei Sobyanin in Moscow for many years. Oreshkin himself, it seems, is still raising: the appointment of his assistant to the president in economics has not yet been officially announced, but he began to look for a team on the weekend-people from him called different officials and offered to go to the presidential administration, the federal official told The Bell.

The Minister of Health, instead of Veronika Skvortsova, was appointed Mikhail Murashko;
As Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky was replaced by Olga Lyubimova;
Sergey Kravtsov became the head of Rosobrnadzor;
Anton Kotyakov was appointed Minister of Labor and Social Protection instead of Maxim Topilin;

The first conclusions

• The power block of the government remained almost unchanged. Only the Minister of Justice was replaced - one classmate Dmitry Medvedev (Konstantin Chuychenko) instead of another (Andrei Konovalov).

• The economic unit was updated about half: we have the new Minister of Economics Maxim Reshetnikov and the new “economic” first Deputy Prime Minister-Andrey Belousov. Anton Siluanov (Ministry of Finance), Alexander Novak (Ministry of Energy), Denis Manturov (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Evgeny Dietrich (Ministry of Transport) remained in their places.

• The social block was completely updated - all six ministers were replaced. Only the smoking Deputy Prime Minister, Tatyana Golikova, remained the same.
