Omsk: verdict under Art. 280 Criminal Code

The verdict to the local resident has entered into force.

In January 2020, it became known that the verdict of the Central District Court of Omsk came into force, which found the local resident Zhurov guilty under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism on the Internet).

According to media reports, Zhurov spread "calls to beat people of non-Slavic appearance."

The court sentenced him to 2.5 years of imprisonment and a fine of 25 thousand rubles.
