The salary of Dmitry Medvedev as deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council will be 618,713 rubles per month. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the corresponding Decree of Putin.
The decree entered into force on January 16.
On January 15, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced the resignation of the government. He explained this by the proposal of Vladimir Putin to amend the Constitution, which he voiced during the message to the Federal Assembly.
Immediately after that, Putin invited Medvedev to take the post of deputy chairman of the Security Council, which he promised to specially establish. It is planned that in his new position, Medvedev will engage in the country's defense capacity.
