Administrative cases under Art. 20.3.1 Code of Administrative Offences. February 2020

After the partial decriminalization of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code in the Code of Administrative Offenses, a new article appeared - 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity). We collect the resolutions issued on it into a single list on a monthly basis.

On February 27, 2020, the Beloretsk Interdistrict Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan fined a local resident V. Karpenko 5,000 rubles for publishing an anti-Semitic video “V.I. Dal about Zhidofascism” on his page on the VKontakte social network.
On February 21, 2020, the Zheleznogorsk City Court of the Kursk Region fined a minor local resident 5,000 rubles for posting a video on the Internet directed against representatives of certain ethnic groups. Details were not reported.
On February 19, 2020, the Leninsk-Kuznetsk City Court of the Kemerovo Region fined local resident Anton Fedoseyev 10,000 rubles for posting xenophobic comments against Roma on a social network.
On February 19, 2020, it became known that in the Kursk region, a court fined a 31-year-old resident of the Sudzhansky district for 10,000 rubles for posting a video calling for violence “against people who are not Russians” on his VKontakte page.
On February 14, 2020, it became known that in Primorsky Krai a court fined a resident of Vladivostok for 10,000 rubles for posting a xenophobic comment on Instagram in October 2019.
On February 4, 2020, it became known that the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Orel fined local resident Sergei Savin 10,000 rubles for posting a xenophobic video “Skinhead” on his social network page.
