In 2020, Russia will continue to supply gas to Belarus on the basis of 2019. This was stated by the deputy head of the presidential administration Dmitry Kozak after Russian-Belarusian negotiations in Sochi.
According to Interfax, in 2019 Russia supplied Belarus gas at a price of $ 127 per thousand cubic meters. This cost was extended only for the first two months of 2020.
Earlier, Belarus asked Russia about oil discounts. “If this is done, then we would need to introduce state regulation of the oil market, which we will not be able to do. We cannot constantly change the rules and put our oil companies in an incomprehensible position, ”Kozak said.
On February 7, negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko were negotiated in Sochi.
