China airlines massively reduce foreign pilots

Chinese airlines began to massively dismiss pilots who are citizens of other countries. In particular, according to Kommersant, they plan to dismiss over 100 Russians.

According to the newspaper South China Morning Post, all foreign pilots working on China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines and other carriers of mainland China were sent to perpetual unpaid vacation.

Foreign pilots are the highest paid employees (except for the leadership), and it became unprofitable to cooperate with them for airlines against the background of the crisis that broke out due to coronavirus.
