The Russian economy loses about 100 billion rubles a day - the head of the Ministry of Economic Development

The Russian economy loses about 100 billion rubles a day in the context of current restrictions due to pandemia, but the priority of people's health is absolute. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov.

“In the situation in which we are now, we lose about 100 billion rubles a day throughout the country, and these are very large losses that we carry. This is the total costs of the economy, ”the minister said.

According to him, the economy is a hostage of the situation that has developed with quarantine, therefore, "when we start opening the economy, doctors can rather say here."

The end of the coronavirus epic is still far away, but now it is clear that healthcare as a public institution awaits very serious, possibly radical changes. The pandemic forces to extract lessons from what is happening and here are some conclusions , which, according to the Doctor of Economics, Evgeny Gontmamer, are now obvious.
