On May 22, 2020, the Tyulgansky District Court of the Orenburg Region fined local resident Ivan Melnikov 1,000 rubles for posting a banned audio clip on a social network. At the trial, Melnikov pleaded guilty, declared remorse and said that he did not know that the audio recording was on the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
On May 15, 2020, the Frunzensky District Court of the city of Ivanovo fined Nikolai Shishkin 1,000 rubles. According to the court, in the period from April 19, 2016 to March 23, 2020, Shishkin posted on his page on the social network VKontakte a video that was recognized as extremist by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Murmansk on March 15, 2016 and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials. (Probably we are talking about item 3619 or item 3620 of the Federal List). At the hearing, Shishkin fully admitted his guilt. Shishkin said that the recording was material of an extremist nature, he learned from the police, and deleted it on the same day. He is not a supporter of radical movements.
On May 31, 2020, the Suzdal Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office announced that two residents of the Suzdal District were fined for publishing freely available videos on their pages on social networks that were recognized as extremist and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials. As the media clarifies, " one of them published a video containing statements that negatively assess a group of people by party affiliation ... The second video concerned violent actions aimed at inciting ethnic hatred ."
On May 29, 2020, in the city of Angarsk, Irkutsk Region, a court fined a 28-year-old local resident for 1,000 rubles for posting a banned xenophobic video from the Federal List of Extremist Materials on the VKontakte social network (p. 2935 ) .
On May 18, 2020, in the city of Saransk, Republic of Mordovia, a court fined a local resident for 1,000 rubles for posting a certain banned video on a social network, which was recognized as extremist by the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court of the city of Vladimir. On May 21, 2020, it became known that in the Sosnovoborsky district of the Penza region, a court fined a 31-year-old local resident for 1,000 rubles for publishing a certain forbidden audio recording from the Federal List of Extremist Materials on the VKontakte social network.
On May 18, 2020, it became known that in the Kemerovo Region, the Tashtagol City Court fined 36-year-old Yury Volkov for two thousand rubles for publishing 14 audio and video recordings included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials on his Odnoklassniki page.
