- On May 13, 2020, the Prigorodny District Court of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania ordered local resident I. Bagaev to work for xenophobic publications on the VKontakte network. The court decision states that the first publication was directed against Christians and Muslims serving in the military in the Russian Federation, and the second called for violence by one group against another group, "united on the basis of their attitude to religion." Judging by the partial quotation given in the text, it was about believers on the one hand and unbelievers on the other.
On May 27, 2020, the Proletarsky District Court of Tver fined local resident Vladimir Marusev 10 thousand rubles, who from 2014 to 2016 published various xenophobic materials on the social network VKontakte under the pseudonym Vasily Sukhov, directed against immigrants from the Caucasus, Jews, Muslims, blacks. Marusev admitted his guilt at the trial.
On May 27, 2020, the Starooskolsky City Court of the Belgorod Region fined a 37-year-old local resident for 5,000 rubles. According to the court, a resident of Stary Oskol published in the public domain several comments on VKontakte aimed at inciting ethnic hatred and enmity. At the hearing, the offender fully admitted his guilt. Taking into account the specific circumstances of the case, data on the identity of the perpetrator, who lives with his mother as a pensioner and provides her with material assistance, his property status, state of health, the court came to the conclusion that a fine in the amount of less than the minimum amount of an administrative fine provided for by Article of the Code of Administrative Offenses .
On May 25, 2020, the Zavodskoy District Court of the city of Kemerovo fined local resident Konstantin Zimin 10,000 rubles, who, according to a court order, published a xenophobic comment in one of the public pages on a social network directed against people from the Caucasus and Central Asia.
On May 18, 2020, the Zavodskoy District Court of the city of Kemerovo fined local resident Andrey Shipilov 10 thousand rubles, who, according to a court order, published two comments on a social network, one of which contained an image of Nazi symbols, and the second - statements directed against a native of the Caucasus.
On May 20, 2020, the Mendeleevsky District Court of the Republic of Tatarstan fined local resident E. Pryanichnikov 10,000 rubles, who left an anti-Gypsy comment in the social network VKontakte under the nickname Donskoy, calling for violence under the article of the public "Penza Live". At the trial, Pryanichnikov admitted his guilt, but stated that he was simply expressing his opinion and did not want to offend anyone.
On May 26, 2020, it became known that a court in Rostov fined a local resident for 10,000 rubles for posting xenophobic audio and video on his VKontakte page.
On May 21, 2020, the Sudzhansky District Court of the Kursk Region fined a 19-year-old student for 10 thousand rubles, who in 2014 published a certain video on the VKontakte social network that incited hatred towards people from the Caucasus.
In May 2020, the Martynovsky District Court of the Rostov Region fined Denis Schebetun for inciting hatred on a social network.
On May 11, 2020, it became known that in the Kemerovo Region, the Kuznetsk District Court of Novokuznetsk appointed local resident Kirill Plekhanov 20 hours of compulsory work. The reason for the administrative prosecution of Plekhanov was his comment published on VKontakte. According to the court ruling, the commentary called for violent actions against the social group "members of the highest executive and administrative body of state power, whose functions include the implementation of government." Recall that we are in favor of excluding the vague concept of “social group” from the anti-extremist legislation.
On May 6, 2020, it became known that in the Primorsky Territory, a court fined a resident of Arsenyev for 10,000 rubles for posting some xenophobic comments on a social network.
