On May 19, 2020, it became known that representatives of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Bashkiria were outraged that the residents of the village of Karan of Chekmagushevsky area after funerals threw out coffins in which the bodies of dead Muslims were transferred from home in the cemetery, in the ravine. Unnecessary coffins found in a ravine nearby from the cemetery - to a spontaneous dump - public figure Ruslan Nurtdinov. The coffins had lain there since autumn and after the intervention of the muftiate were destroyed.
