A transgender woman was appointed a year and a half of correctional labor for the drawings of Manga in VKontakte

The Soviet District Court of Bryansk appointed a transgender woman Michelle for one year and seven months of correctional labor for the Japanese drawings of the manga, published on the VKontakte social network. It is reported by "MBH Media".

Michelle found guilty of the spread of pornography with the image of minors (part 1 of article 242.1 of the Criminal Code). Initially, the court appointed her two years of correctional labor, but the term was reduced due to the fact that the woman had already spent several months in jail.

She will also have to pay 50 thousand rubles of a fine.

The woman published several drawings of manga on her VKontakte page with the image of naked characters from Japanese cartoons. The examination came to the conclusion that "male persons who have not reached the age of 14 are drawn in the pictures."

The case was considered a second time. On December 29, 2019, Michelle was sentenced to three years in colony. However, on January 22 of this year, the Bryansk Regional Court returned the case for a review, and Michelle was released from the pre-trial detention center due to procedural violations.
