June 11, 2020 in relation to the confessor Sredneuralsky nunnery, forbidden in the service of shiigumen Sergius (Romanova), a case was initiated under Part 9 of Art. 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“Distribution on the Internet is known to unreliable socially significant information under the guise of reliable messages, created a threat of harm to the life and (or) health of citizens, if these actions of a person distributing information do not contain a criminal offense deeds").

The article provides punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of 30 thousand to 100 thousand rubles.

Reason for excitement case was published at the end of April , the sermon of the priest, in which he called for disobedience to secular authorities and the clergy and ignoring orders not to attend temples during the epidemic. The sermon contained many anti-Semitic statements.

Recall that earlier the Center "E" of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Sverdlovsk Region saw signs in this sermon offense under Art. 20.3.1 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (incitement to hatred), but the case was eventually opened under a different article.

The case should be considered by the Magistrate's Court plot number 3 Verkhnyaya Pyshma, the hearing is scheduled for June 23.
