The mask regime and other restrictions due to the coronavirus may operate in Moscow for several more months. This was announced on the TV channel "Russia 1" by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

“Protective measures should not be forgotten, and we remind you that this must be done. Imagine when on a subway train half are wearing masks and half are not. <...> It should not be like this, either we fulfill them all, or we need to cancel everything, all restrictions. We do not cancel and believe that they are needed in the coming weeks, and maybe even months, ”said Sobyanin (quoted by RIA Novosti).

• Public events are now banned in Moscow, and the requirement to wear masks and gloves in stores, the subway and other crowded places remains. Wearing a mask outside is a recommendation.
• At first, the wearing of masks in crowded places was strictly controlled, but in the summer, when the epidemic began to decline, the control was relaxed. In early July, Sergei Sobyanin said that he did not expect a second wave of coronavirus in Moscow.
