The FSB proposes to punish two ex-employees of the Taganrog aircraft plant for humiliating police officers

Accused of poisoning colleagues with thallium and another ex-employee of an aircraft factory from Taganrog, they can be held accountable for humiliating the dignity of the "policemen" social group.

On August 13, 2020, it became known that the prosecutor’s office of Taganrog from the Federal Security Service for the Rostov Region received materials from inspections regarding Vladislav Shulga and Stanislav T., former employees of the Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev.

The UFSB suggests that the prosecutor's office bring both to justice under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for humiliation on the basis of belonging to the social group "police".

Linguistic signs of humiliation of human dignity were found in the following commentary by Shulga, left on the Ersh. Taganrog portal: " These are not stupid laws, but those who are assigned to execute them are criminals! Scum are judges, bastards are policemen, crooks are prosecutors. " Stanislav T. left a comment on the same site " All cops are bastards, especially the first department and investigator R... ".

From our point of view, law enforcement officers should not be considered a vulnerable social group protected by anti-extremist legislation. On the contrary, as the European Court of Human Rights has repeatedly noted , they should be exceptionally tolerant of criticism, if it is not a real threat of violence. In the comments of the ex-employees of the aircraft plant, there were no calls at all, including for violent actions. Their authors only emotionally expressed a negative attitude towards the police (perhaps due to the fact that Shulga is currently in the dock on charges of poisoning aircraft factory employees with thallium in 2017). Therefore, we believe that the initiation of administrative cases under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses in relation to them will be unlawful.
