The final official results of the elections were announced in Belarus: 80.1%allegedly voted for Lukashenko, and 10.12%for Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.

Earlier today, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya recorded a new video message, in which she called on mayors of Belarusian cities on August 15 and 16 to organize peaceful mass meetings. “I urge the power to stop violence and go to the dialogue,” she said.

On August 9, the presidential election was held in Belarus. The CEC said that the current President Alexander Lukashenko won them with a result of 80.08%, and his main rival Svetlana Tikhanovskaya received 10.09%. She did not recognize these results. Later, Tikhanovskaya left the country, although she was not going to do this. The headquarters said that she was forced to do this. The country does not stop protests, more than 6 thousand people are detained.
