Romance with a killer. The accomplice of the Berlin murder associated with the group of killers from the FSB is identified

A year ago, on August 23, 2019, an ethnic Chechen from Georgia Zelimkhan Khangoshvili was shot in Berlin. In past investigations , we managed to establish that the killer is Vadim Krasikov from the Vympel special forces, also guilty of at least two custom -made businessmen murders in Russia. Now we also managed to identify the accomplice of Krasikov, hiding under the name Roman Davydov. His real name is Roman Yuryevich Demyanchenko, he is also the Vimpelovets, who participated in a number of special operations. It is also connected with a group of killers, known as the "magnificent seven of the FSB."

In one of the previous parts of the investigation, we already wrote about the accomplice of Krasikov - “Roman Davydov” (with the date of birth on October 9, 1981). Roman Davydov was not born at all in 1981, but just 10 days before his visit to the Slovak consulate to receive a Schengen visa - a passport for this name was issued on July 18, 2019 in Bryansk (where Krasikov). In the tax base, he appeared a week later - July 23, 2019. The place of work was the company of RUST CJSC, like Krasikov.

In the calls of Krasikov, we did not find anyone like Davydov, but found that only two of Krasikov’s acquaintances continued to call his phone after the murder - they probably talked with his wife and gave her information about her husband or instructions. These two contacts were the FSB Colonel Evgeny E. and Andrei Sazonsev (about him later). Already in Sazontsev’s calls (data from a mobile operator are at the disposal of Bellingcat) we found that he constantly communicates with a person whose name and date of birth are close to Roman Davydov - Demyanchenko Roman Yuryevich, on December 4, 1980. Who is Roman Demyanchenko

Roman Demyanchenko was born on December 4, 1980 in Moscow. There is very little data about it. We only managed to establish that he served in the “pennant” of the FSB and in 2011 (at the age of 31) he already received a pension, which suggests that during some of the special operations he was injured. This is all the more likely, given that since 2008 it has been listed in the list of persons receiving state benefits (this is usually due to state awards).

Officially in 2019, he worked in Vimpel - Assistance, owned by Eduard Bender , President of the Vimpel Association and General Tikhonov’s friend, head of the FSB special appointment Center. In our previous studies, we showed that Bender's repeatedly communicated personally with Vadim Krasikov several times a few days before a trip to Germany, Krasikov also came to the office of the Association of Veterans.

Metadata from telephone conversations Demyanchenko show that he often happens at the headquarters of the Vympel group of companies and communicates with her leadership, including the President of Bender, as well as with the current FSB officers. Demyanchenko and Krasikov did not communicate directly on mobile communications, but had a common interlocutor, the current colonel of the FSB. In mobile applications that associate the user phone with how they are recorded in contacts with other people, mobile Demyanchenko is listed as “Roma Vimpel” and “Roma of the FSB”.

Participation in the Berlin operation

As previously reported, Roman Davydov went to Europe two weeks before the murder of Khangoshvili on the Slovak visa issued at the Slovak consulate in St. Petersburg. (Slovakia after our previous publication sent two Russian diplomats due to the abuse of Russia by the Slovak visa system). Having established his real identity, we were able to see his trip from Moscow to St. Petersburg while receiving a visa: Roman Demyanchenko arrived in St. Petersburg on July 23, 2019 and was supposed to return after 3 days, but apparently did not manage to prepare the coverage documents, eventually filed for a visa on July 29 (already as Davydov) and returned to Moscow on the same day. The visa was ready on July 31 and, apparently, someone else took it for Demyanchenko.

Recall that both Davydov and Sokolov (the name of the Closing of Krasikov) brought to the consulate confirmation of employment from the same company - the St. Petersburg CJSC Rust, related to the security forces and was at the liquidation stage, and did not have full -time employees at all. The director of the company Boris Ershov told The Insider that he did not know these people, and he could not explain how his signature appeared at the certificate for the consulate.

Other personalities and special operations

Roman Demyanchenko traveled at least under three different names and dates of birth, for each he had his own passport.

Under his real name, he traveled only within the country. Among his frequent directions in the last 5 years have been Crimea and Krasnodar. Under his last name - “Davydov” - he did not have time to travel, since this personality was created specifically for the Berlin operation.

But his movements under the name of the novel “Nikolaev” (12/22/1980) turned out to be much more interesting. And although the databases with his trips under this name were carefully cleaned, trips to the Czech Republic in 2015, as well as trips to Latakia (Syria) and some other countries of the Middle East, were preserved in offline basas.

During one of the trips to St. Petersburg in 2017, he was accompanied by three fellow traders. One of them - Andrei Sazontsev - was previously identified by us as a member of the “magnificent seven”, the FSB “pennant” team, who conducted extrajudicial executions abroad, whose victims were also Chechens. Sazontsev is a former employee of the Moscow threat, in 2015 he flew to the Czech Republic with a passport in the name of Andrey Mitrakov. He also often talked on the phone with Krasikov before a trip to Berlin and called his wife immediately after the murder. In addition, he repeatedly talked with Demyanchenko in recent months. Although his connection with the murder in Berlin is not yet clear, according to his calls it is clear that he knew about the operation. If he really played an active role in the Berlin murder, then he was probably not there as “mitrakov”, but used (like Krasikov with Demyanchenko) specially issued documents for this.

The other two fellow travelers also work in the Vimpel group of companies and are former employees of the FSB special forces. All these recent data confirm our previous conclusion that the murder of Khangoshvili in Berlin was organized by the “pennant” of the FSB.
