The executive director of Open Russia Andrei Pivovarov was detained in Moscow. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the organization.

According to the coordinator of the movement of Tatyana Usmanova, a protocol is drawn up under Art. 20.2 (violation of the rules of public events). It is also reported that Pivovarov will be left for the night at the police department, and the court will take place tomorrow.

“Andrei detained 4 people on Petrovka. He was delivered to the Tver police department. When he called me, everything he knew was what was charged with article 20.2, but part is not called, as the reason for the detention. It was later reported that they were detained for collecting signatures on Pushkinskaya on July 15 and for road overlapping. This is up to 15 days, they do not want to release before the election on September 13, ”Tatyana Usmanova told The Insider.

Earlier today it became known that the representatives of the campaign “No!”, Opposing against constitutional reform, filed a collective lawsuit in the Supreme Court with a demand to cancel the voting results for amendments to the Constitution. Among the plaintiffs was Andrei Pivovarov.
