The first complaint from the protesters in Khabarovsk was filed in the European Court of Human Rights, Rostislav Smolensky, who was arrested for eight days, appealed to the court. This was reported by MBH Media with reference to the coordinator of "Human Rights Cards" Alexei Pryanishnikov.

Smolensky claims that his right to a fair trial was violated - all defense arguments were ignored by the courts, and the right to an adversarial process with the participation of the prosecution was violated. In addition, the statement says that the right to freedom of expression and the right to freedom of peaceful assembly was violated.

“The event was organized, to express the attitude to pension reform, which, according to the applicant, is socially significant. The case file does not contain any evidence that the expression of this opinion is unacceptable in a democratic society, ”the complaint says.

We will remind, earlier, Smolensky, who participated in shares in Khabarovsk, was arrested for eight days. It drew up a protocol on the creation of traffic on a rally. At the same time, in the protocol, police officers indicated the time and date of the offense, in which Smolensky was not present at protest events.

For several months in Khabarovsk, thousands of promotions have been held in support of the arrested ex-governor Sergei Furgal. According to the investigation, the former head of the region was the organizer of a number of attempts on entrepreneurs.
