The UN Monitoring Mission to Human Rights in Ukraine in recent months has recorded the growth of the dead among the civilian population. This was reported by the mission Matilda Bogner. According to her, from the beginning of the conflict in the Donbass 3367 civilians were killed in the Donbass. More than 7 thousand were injured.

It is noted that the ceasefire, which entered into force on July 27, improved the situation.

“Since August 1, we have not registered a single dead civilian and not a single destruction of civil objects based on the results of the military operations. This demonstrates that there is an opportunity to achieve a zero indicator of those who died among civilians, ”Bogner said at a press conference in Kyiv.
