
Germany does not recognize Alexander Lukashenko as the President of Belarus and after the inauguration. According to Interfax, said the official representative of the German government, Steffen Zubert.
“The fact that this ceremony was prepared secretly and held without public participation is very significant. And after this ceremony, Mr. Lukashenko cannot count on democratic legitimacy, ”said Zubert.
Earlier, Slovakia said that she did not recognize the legitimacy of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. Also, Lithuania does not recognize the legitimacy of taking office.
Earlier it was reported that Lithuania recognized Svetlana Tikhanovskaya as the only and legitimate president of Belarus. The corresponding document was published by the NEXTA and RIA Novosti Telegram channel.
It should be noted that on August 30, Lithuania and Estonia, following Latvia, imposed personal sanctions against Alexander Lukashenko, his eldest son Viktor, who holds the position of presidential adviser to national security, and 28 Belarusian officials. The completely black list is published on the official website of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
