The son of ex-governor Levchenko was arrested for two months

The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested until November 20 a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk Region Andrei Levchenko, the son of the former governor Sergei Levchenko. It is reported by Interfax. Father told reporters that he had been searches, and he himself was questioned as a witness in the case of his son.

Andrei Levchenko was detained on September 28 in the fraud case. He was transferred to Moscow, where another person involved in the case is located - the director of Zvezda LLC Oleg Hamulyak.

In February 2019, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on theft by fraud of funds of the capital repair fund of apartment buildings of the Irkutsk region, perfectly largely large.

According to investigators, Khamulyak with accomplices in 2017 provided to the Ministry of Regulation of the contract system in the procurement field of the Irkutsk region "knowingly forgery documents for applications for participation in the preliminary selection of contracting organizations for the repair and replacement of elevator equipment, repairing elevators".

Then Khamulyak, together with Levchenko, according to the UK, concluded an agreement with the foreign company for the supply of elevator equipment for a total of 167 million rubles to the city of Irkutsk, which provided to the capital repair fund of apartment buildings of the Irkutsk region to receive the advance payment in accordance with the concluded agreements. Then another company was created, "with the help of which the cost of repair work was unreasonably increased to 319.6 million rubles."

As a result of the unlawful actions of Khamulyak and Levchenko, the Irkutsk region, damage was caused in the amount of more than 185 million rubles.
