Representatives of the US presidential candidate from Democrats Joe Biden rejected the message that he had met with a senior official of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. This was reported by the European division "Radio Liberty".

According to one of the heads of the Bayden election campaign, Andrew Bates, The New York Post did not provide evidence that the meeting took place and published its material on unverified facts received from the Republicans.

“Investigations conducted by the press and the whole two committees of the Senate, headed by the Republicans, during the impeachment procedure, came to the same conclusion: Joe Biden pursued the US official policy against Ukraine and did not make any offensive. Moreover, we studied the official schedule of Joe Biden: these meetings were never held, ”Bates said.

Recall that The New York Post, with reference to the electronic letters received by the newspaper, published an article that reported that Biden, while still vice president of the United States, thanks to his son Hunter, held a meeting with a high-ranking employee of the Ukrainian company Burisma Vadim Pozharsky.

It is noted that this meeting occurred less than a year before Baiden “pressed on the Ukrainian authorities” to achieve the resignation of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin. According to Republicans, Baiden eliminated Shokin so that he could not investigate the case related to Burisma, in which Hunter Biden worked.

According to the publication, the correspondence materials were found in a computer left in the repair shop in Delaware in April 2019.
