Suspects have emerged in the case of a double neo-Nazi murder committed in the 2000s

In October 2020, the investigation requested the arrest of suspects in the case of the neo-Nazi murder of two people, which was committed in 2007.

In October 2020, it became known about the initiation of a criminal cases under par. "a", "g", "l" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (murder of two or more persons committed by a group of persons motivated by hatred).

According to media reports, the case was initiated in connection with a well-known neo-Nazi murder of two people in 2007. Recall that it became known about him when a video appeared on the Internet, where, against the background of a flag with a swastika, they were brutally murdered a native of Dagestan Shamil Udamanov (Odamanov) and a native of Central Asia, whose identity is not installed so far. Ultra-rightists cut off Udamanov's head, the second victim - shot point-blank.

It is reported that two people are still involved in the case - far-right activist Sergei Marshakov, who is serving a sentence for shooting at FSB officers and ex-member of the banned neo-Nazi group "Format-18" Maxim Aristarkhov, who is also currently serving a sentence.

In this high-profile case, shortly before his death, he was interrogated ex-leader of "Format-18" Maxim Martsinkevich ("Tesak"). According to his lawyer Alexei Mikhalchik, Marshakov was serving his sentence in the colony of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where Martsinkevich was brought.

On December 18, 2020, Mikhalchuk reported that the Investigative Committee believes that Martsinkevich was involved in these two murders. The investigation believes that Martsinkevich testified in this case and pleaded guilty.

Sergei Martsinkevich refused to close the case against his son in connection with his death. The father wanted to exercise his right, which he confirmed in 2011 the Constitutional Court of Russia, allowing the relatives of the deceased seek trial of them and insist on innocence.

On October 20, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested Marshakov until December 18. The investigation withdrew the petition for the arrest of the second person involved in the case at the last moment, because Aristarkhov was sent to a colony. Now he will have to be transported back, after which the investigation will again turn to the court.

Recall that Sergei Marshakov is a veteran far right movement. Since the end of 1999, he was a member of the group "Skins Legion", led by Maxim Bazylev (Adolf) . Her activity and the activities of Marshakov himself became the material for the book “Skins. Russia is awakening ” , which has become a cult for Russian Nazi skinheads. During the first arrest of Bazylev, Marshakov led the group.

At the end of February 2009, Bazylev asked Marshakov to take a package with things from him for storage, explaining what he is under surveillance. According to Marshakov, he took the package home and At the same time, he did not check what was in it. In March, Bazylev was detained and placed in SIZO, where he opened his veins. In September 2009, in Moscow, Marshakov had a hard time wounded FSB officer Ilya Kostelev, who participated in the search at him at home. On February 9, 2011, the Moscow City Court sentenced Marshakov to 16 years in prison in a strict regime colony.

Investigative actions with both prisoners began back in the summer of 2020, and in August Marshakov said that he knew about the execution of two visitors in 2007 and about Martsinkevich's involvement in it.

September 14, Marshakov hit with clerical scissors an employee of the Krasnoyarsk pre-trial detention center-1 - for this, another criminal case. It happened not in the cell, but in the office, where the convict, apparently, was brought in for a conversation.

Less is known about Aristarkhov. According to unverified information from the far right sites, he "stood at the very origins of Format18", participated in the filming many videos that the movement published. Around 2011, he was convicted of robbery - robbed a taxi driver with a "non-Slavic appearance". Details, unfortunately, are unknown.
