The administration of St. Petersburg will allocate funds to religious organizations for work to preserve monument buildings

KGIOP decided to allocate to St. Petersburg religious subsidies for organizations to carry out work on the preservation of cultural objects heritage.

October 19, 2020 Committee on State control, use and protection of historical and cultural monuments of St. Petersburg issued an order to provide religious organizations with competitive subsidies for the implementation of conservation activities cultural heritage.

Subsidies on a gratuitous and irrevocable basis will provided to religious organizations that own such objects.

The size of the subsidy is not reported.
