On Sakhalin, the case of supporters of the “Union of Slavic Forces of Rus'” was brought to court

Two residents of the city of Korsakov are accused of participating in the activities of an extremist organization.

On October 30, 2020, it became known that in the Sakhalin Region, the case of two residents of the city of Korsakov, accused under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organization).

According to investigators, a 58-year-old man “in October 2016 joined the extremist organization “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics” and “Union of Slavic Forces of Rus'” banned in Russia”, and then “involved his 52-year-old acquaintance in its activities.” At the end of August 2019, the defendants themselves sent “documents containing text that actually imposes the ideology of an extremist organization” to the law enforcement agencies of the Sakhalin Region.

On July 15, 2019, the Supreme Court of the Komi Republic recognized the Union of Slavic Forces of Russia (USSR) as an extremist organization. We wrote more about this association here .
