Three employees of the Russian Guard were detained in Omsk on suspicion of bribes and drug storage

In Omsk, three employees of the Rosguard private security were detained on suspicion of receiving bribes and illegal drug storage. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the statement of the press service of the regional department of the FSB.

According to investigators, the Rosgvardists received bribes from drug dealers in exchange for non -criminal liability.

“On October 23, 2020, as a result of operational-search measures, after receiving a bribe from a resident of Omsk, involved in the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, the suspects were detained with red-handed employees of the special forces of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Omsk Region,” the report said.

In addition, during the search belonging to the platoon commander, more than 70 g of various drugs were discovered.

Two employees were charged under paragraph “A” of part 5 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (receiving a bribe by officials by prior conspiracy or an organized group), the platoon commander - under Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code (illegal storage of drugs on a large scale).

At the moment he was sent under house arrest.
