The Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation ruled in connection with the complaint of the Church of Evangelical Christians "Word of Life".
On November 6, 2020, the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation issued a ruling in the case of checking the constitutionality of Part 3 of Art. 5.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and paragraph 8 of Art. 8 of the Federal Law "On Freedom of Conscience" in connection with the complaint of the Church of Evangelical Christians "Word of Life" (Dolgoprudny). the name of the organization in the event that worship services are held in a part of the residential building, and not in the entire building, and if inside the residential building at the entrance to the worship premises there are appropriate signs indicating the full name of the religious organization.
A religious organization is not held liable even if worship services are not held in a residential building, the address of which is indicated in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities as the address of a religious organization. Sources
