The chairman of the city of the St. Petersburg Horiz Infant, Viktor Minenko, wrote a statement addressed to Governor Alexander Beglov with a request to free him ahead of schedule from the duties of a member of the St. Petersburg Electoral Commission with a ruling vote. It is reported by Fontanka.

According to Fontanka with reference to unnamed sources, Minenko’s resignation can be reported on November 13 at a meeting of the Central Election Commission.
