By the end of the year, the Government of Russia will additionally allocate 62 billion rubles for payments to low -income families with children aged 3 to 7 years. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin.
“Thus, the total amount of payments to needing families this year will exceed 123 billion rubles for more than 4 million children from 3 to 7 years old,” Mishustin said.
A monthly allowance for children from three to seven years for families was introduced in April as a measure of support for low -income families in the context of a pandemic crisis. Now the amount of payment is equal to half the subsistence level of the child in the region. On average in the country, this is 5,500 rubles.
