In St. Petersburg, the growth of Covid-19 allegedly stopped

In St. Petersburg, from November 26 to December 1, the daily increase in the identified cases of COVID-19 disease did not change , although earlier within a month the number of new cases of coronavirus increased by about 4-8 % every day. This follows from official statistics on the Stopkoronavirus website.

The demographer, former adviser to Rosstat, Alexei Raksha, told the “paper” that he considers such “amazing smoothness and stability” in numbers a sign of manipulation in drug epidemic statistics. In his opinion, the suspension of the increase in the incidence “does not quite correlate with a decrease in the number of beds and, moreover, does not correspond to the increase in the number of hospitalizations” into the coronaviral hospitals of St. Petersburg.

The press service of the Health Committee of St. Petersburg in response to the question of “papers” , whether the growth of the increase in the real situation is related, replied: “The number of cases is issued by Rospotrebnadzor. This figure is tied to the volume of testing [on coronavirus]. ” In Komzdrav, the number of hospitalizations increased by 7–9 %.

As can be seen on the “Paper” graph, the number of tests conducted in November increased slightly compared to October.

November 26 - 3669;
November 27 - 3687;
November 28 - 3695;
November 29 - 3701;
November 30 - 3691;
December 1 - 3697.

For comparison:
November 22 - 2668;
November 23 - 2926;
November 24 - 3179;
November 25 - 3421.

Earlier, the head of the Pandemia Working Group, Alexei Borovkov, told Paper that, according to his forecast, the incidence of coronavirus in St. Petersburg would grow before the January holidays. Only after this is expected to decrease.

In November, in St. Petersburg more covid-19 diseases were revealed than all the previous months of the pandemic.
