On January 13, 2021, the Central District Court of Novosibirsk extended the detention of Vissarion (Sergei Torop) and two members of the Church of the Last Testament, Vladimir Vedernikov and Vadim Redkin. They will remain under arrest until April 15, 2021. The leaders of the Church of the Last Testament were detained in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on September 22, 2020 as part of a criminal investigation under Part 1 of Art. 239 of the Criminal Code (creation of a religious association whose activities involve violence against citizens or other harm to their health, as well as the leadership of such an association) and paras. "a", "b" part 3 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm by an organized group against two or more persons). The court seized the property of the detainees: equipment, a "building for religious purposes" and the site on which Vissarion's house stands, two houses, a land plot and equipment of Vadim Redkin, a car , a trailer, an all-terrain vehicle, two plots of land, two buildings and a share of another building owned by Vladimir Vedernikov.
On April 12, the Central District Court of Novosibirsk extended term of detention of Torop, Vedernikov and Redkin for another three months.
The case on the liquidation of the Church of the Last Testament is considered by the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court.
