Bryansk: verdict under Art. 280 Criminal Code

A resident of Bryansk was found guilty of inciting violence.

On January 21, 2021, it became known that in Bryansk, the Volodarsky District Court recognized a local resident born in 1995. guilty under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism on the Internet) and sentenced him to one year of imprisonment with probation for one year.

The reason for initiating the case was the comments that the young man left on April 9, 2020 on one of the news sites. In them, according to investigators, he called for "the commission of crimes against a group of persons singled out on religious grounds."
