FBK employees close to Alexei Navalny were arrested by the police for more than a week: Georgy Alburov, an employee of the FBK investigation department, received 10 days of arrest, Navalny's press secretary Kira Yarmysh - 9 days.
The police and the Prosecutor General's Office continue to isolate key FBK employees. Kira Yarmysh was detained on Thursday evening in her apartment, Georgy Alburov - at the Leningradsky railway station.
Today the court ruled against both FBK employees. Both Yarmysh and Alburov were found guilty under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (organizing or holding a public event without filing a notice of holding a public event in the prescribed manner) and received 9 and 10 days of administrative arrest, respectively. As Alburov wrote on Twitter, he was punished for reposting Navalny's investigation, where he quoted the politician: "Don't be afraid to take to the streets."
FBK lawyer Lyubov Sobol, who was also detained yesterday, was fined 250,000 rubles by the court.
