
At the Samara State Technical University, teachers and students were banned from participating in inconsistent political actions. This is stated in the new edition of the "Code of Ethics of Office behavior of workers and students", which was noteworthy of the New Gazeta.
For participation in an unauthorized rally, employees and students may face reprimand or dismissal, the university code said.
“The employee (the student) should exclude: the dissemination of information, the formulation of the position (including on social networks), which is directed against the state, region, university, damaging the state system, authority and business reputation of the university, disclosing the image of a citizen of the Russian Federation, an employee (student) of the university,” the text said.
“You should also exclude participation in unauthorized meetings, rallies, demonstrations, processions or pickets directed against the state system and the Constitution of the Russian Federation,” the document says.
The new rules, according to the compilers, are “aimed at creating a comfortable microclimate in the team”, “the formation of such qualities as goodwill, a sense of partnership, tolerance, trust, respect for the honor and advantages of colleagues and comrades”.
