Russia in the first place in the number of people who died from coronavirus per capita, and the actions of the authorities led to this. How is this confirmed?

Excessive mortality in Russia from April to December 2020 (during the Pandemia of Coronavirus) amounted to 358 thousand people. This follows from the data published by Rosstat. This means that from April to December 358 thousand people died more than on average over the same period, in the last five years.

According to the deputy chairman of the government of Tatyana Golikova, excess mortality is 81% associated with coronavirus. And in Moscow, according to the Department of Health, Koronavirus provoked 98-100% of “excess deaths”.

And if we assume that almost all excess mortality is associated with pandemia, it turns out that from Covid last year, more than six times more people died than the authorities claim in official statistics.

Where does such a gap in the data come from? How did Russia come first in terms of the number of victims of coronavirus per capita? Why was the main thing for the authorities the presence of beds in hospitals, and not a victory over the epidemic? In other countries, official data on mortality are also often underestimated-do they also hide something there?
