Russia and Sierra Leone signed a joint statement of the first weapons in space. The document on behalf of their countries was signed by the permanent representative of Vasily Nebenzya and the head of the mission Ahmad Kabba.

“This is another important step towards preventing arms race in space,” the constant representation of the Russian Federation at the UN said in a statement.
