A resident of the city of Lysva in the Perm Territory received a two-year suspended sentence for anti-Semitic posts on a social network.
On March 25, 2021, the Lysvensky City Court of the Perm Territory issued a sentence under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities).
A resident of Lysva was sentenced to two years of probation for the same period of time. In addition, he is forbidden to conduct and administer websites and social networks. In 2017, a resident of the city of Lysva wrote an anti-Semitic post on his social media page. This was discovered by operatives of the regional FSB, and a criminal case was initiated against the man.
In 2021, the case went to trial. The trial began on March 9.
