In the Tula region, the court received the case of three supporters of the banned “Union of Slavic Forces of Rus'”

All of them are accused of participating in the activities of an extremist organization.

On May 21, 2021, it became known that the Leninsky District Court of the Tula Region received a case of three supporters of the "Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' (USSR)". All of them are accused under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organization).

The investigation believes that the Tula people, “observing secrecy, <...> gathered and held meetings, and also disseminated the ideology of the society.”

Probably, we are talking about a case initiated in July 2020. According to media reports, the name of one of the accused is S. Podchufarov.

Recall that on July 15, 2019, the Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' was recognized by the Supreme Court of the Komi Republic as an extremist organization.

The ideology of the movement is based on anti-Semitism, as well as on the belief that the Soviet Union never collapsed, so the current government in Russia should be recognized as illegitimate. According to the followers of the USSR, in 1991 there was a “raider seizure” of power, and the current leadership of the Russian Federation and the states formed on the site of the former Soviet republics are “organized criminal communities” that must be fought in order to restore all structures and bodies of the USSR.
